IEMS’ Hui Kai-lung commented to Ming Pao on the use of IT to develop a smart transportation network in Hong Kong, and using an electronic toll system to ease traffic congestion.
Commenting on the traffic monitoring system to collect data, Professor Hui said drivers should not be too worried over data privacy as there are regulations in place to protect personal data in Hong Kong.
