Emilio Bisetti is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Prior to joining HKUST, he completed his doctoral studies in financial economics at Carnegie Mellon University in 2018 where he was awarded the Alexander Henderson Award for Excellence in Economic Theory. His work has appeared in finance and economics journals such as Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Finance, Management Science, International Economic Review, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. His current IEMS-funded research includes a study of how the environmental and social conduct of international suppliers is internalized by corporate customers in the U.S.
