The IEMS is recruiting a Project Assistant to provide copywriting and editorial support on social media channels, print and online publications including newsletters, brochures, annual reports, policy briefs, press releases, and other promotional materials. The appointee will report directly to the Assistant Manager for outreach and marketing. The appointee is expected to assist in the management of the Institute's website and social media channels, video production and events, and to liaise with vendors directly.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in a language, journalism, social science or business-related discipline. Prior experience in the areas of editorial work and marketing will be desirable. Candidates should possess native-level English proficiency and strong English writing skills; and be familiar with the use of Internet and common social media platforms. Knowledge of public policy or business issues in emerging markets is required. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
