TVB and HKET: Bank on Graduates in Business Push

TVB and many other local Hong Kong newspapers–including HKET, HKEJ, Sing Tao, Ming Pao, ODN, Ta Kung Pao, Wen Wei Po, Standard, am730, Sky Post–reported on the innovative startups setup by four of HKUST’s Global Business graduates. In addition to the student startups, the media reported on the average salary, job placement, and aims of the Global Business program. IEMS’ Kar Yan Tam, Dean of HKUST’s Business School, was quoted as saying that technology advances has facilitated and encouraged more startups among the Hong Kong youth of today.
