Zweig dissects Xi's message to Hong Kong (Bloomberg)

IEMS' David Zweig interpreted the meaning of Xi Jinping's speech in Hong Kong on July 1. Professor mentioned to Bloomberg:"Xi sent a clear sovereign message: ‘You belong to us, and your future is with us’. Maybe it will finally put to sleep the democrats’ unfailing belief that somehow Xi is going to offer a package that will solve the political problems of Hong Kong.”
The article emphasized that Xi Jinping expressed opinion regarding the development of Hong Kong as number one priority. He also added that taking action against the mainland or provoking Chinese government is unacceptable.
