GBA Career Exploration at Qianhai
On 7 November 2025, EY, Dean of Business and Management (DBM), and HKUST Institute for Emerging Market Studies (IEMS) co-organized the “GBA Career Exploration@Qianhai”, bringing together 50 students from HKUST and HKUST (Guangzhou) to explore professional employment opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The program featured visits to key locations, including the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub, where students received a comprehensive introduction to GBA employment policies and opportunities for young professionals in the region. At the EY Greater Bay Area Center of Excellence, Mr. William Huang, Managing Partner, EY China South, and Ms. Mabel Li, Partner, Tax & Business Advisory Services, Ernst & Young Qianhai (Shenzhen) Advisory Company Limited, shared valuable insights into tax benefits and career opportunities within EY, providing students with a deeper understanding of professional pathways.
