IEMS Announces New Executive Committee Members for 2024-2026
The HKUST Institute for Emerging Market Studies (IEMS) is pleased to announce the results of our recent Faculty Associate Executive Committee election for the 2024-2026 term. Five distinguished faculty members have been appointed to guide the IEMS's strategic direction and initiatives.
The new Executive Committee members are:
- Prof Naubahar Sharif – Head of Public Policy
- Prof Kim-Pong Tam, Professor of Social Science
- Prof Pengyu Zhu – Associate Professor of Public Policy
- Prof Amber Yao Li – Associate Professor of Economics
- Prof Darwin Choi – Associate Professor of Finance (appointed member)
The Executive Committee will serve a two-year term from 2024 to 2026, focusing on advancing IEMS's mission of providing thought leadership on critical issues facing emerging markets. We are confident that their expertise and insights will significantly enhance the impact of IEMS's research and policy.
We look forward to the contributions of our new committee members as we continue to foster collaboration and innovation in emerging markets.
